The gaskets for the front turn signals and license plate lights are made of 4mm high quality European EPDM rubber cell foam. The original gaskets are made of solid rubber. However the plastic housing of the indicator and the lens of the license plate light are warped over the years. A solid rubber gasket will no longer seal the lens and the lamp body. The backing foam gaskets for the tail lights are made of 2mm high quality European EPDM rubber cell foam. The rubber seals for the rear lights usually are still in decent shape however the backing foam that is glued on top the seal will have decayed after some 40 years.
EPDM is UV and water resistant. Delivery to the USA can take 2 - 3 weeks.
