Take your time and prepare well. The adhesive is strong and especially the grey soft foam needs to be applied correctly first time. No room for error !
This kit contains:
# new Genuine Toyota heater hose grommet for the firewall
# 2 new Genuine Toyota grommets for the "WARM PULL" and "FRESH PULL" cables.
#1 & 2 self-adhesive gaskets between the heater blower and the apron, 8mm water resistant EPDM.
Between cars there is quiet a variance of the distance between the heater blower and the apron. Therefor 2 gaskets are included. If 1 does not suffice you can stack the second gasket on top of it.
#3 & 4 self-adhesive gaskets for the valve, 4mm water resistant EPDM foam
#5 self-adhesive gasket between the blower and the firewall, 8mm water resistant EPDM foam
#6 self-adhesive gasket between the firewall and air duct. 4mm water resistant EPDM foam
#7 self-adhesive gasket strip between the air duct and heater. 4mm heat resistant neoprene foam.
#8 & 9 self-adhesive soft heat resistant gaskets for the top valve of the heater. This is the original set-up. You can choose to do without the gasket on the back of this valve and use the included 2 neoprene strips instead (#10 & 11). See photos.
#12 self-adhesive soft heat resistant gasket between the grey metal part and the top half of the heater.
#13 self-adhesive soft heat resistant gasket for the bottom valve of the heater
#14, 15, 16 & 17 self-adhesive gaskets for the heater core. 4mm heat resistant neoprene foam. The side with the water connections should be done first !
Kind regards,
Paul
